Kolkata, India won the test match against New Zealand and after winning the test match, the Indian captain started sweeping in the stadium, Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Various other Indian players were also with him and they also took part in sweeping of the stadium. He also picked the garbage from the stadium and the president of the board, Anuragh Thakur, coach Anil Kumble, and other players of the team including Pujara, Ajinkiya Rahane, and Rohit Sharma. He performed this work in the ‘Clean India Mission’ which was started on 02 October 2014 by the government and now two years have been completed for this campaign.
