PSL franchises have selected replacements for unavailable players of their respective teams. The draft was held in National Cricket Academy Lahore in which representatives of 4 teams participated. Quetta Gladiators select 4 players while Lahore Qalanders and Peshawar Zalmi selected 3 players each while Karachi Kings was not required to do so.
Quetta Gladiators replaced West Indian Carlos Brathwaite with English all rounder Moeen Ali, England’s David Willy with New Zealand’s N McCullum, West Indian R Powell with Sri Lankan T Perera and Afghanistan’s M Nabi with South African R Rossouw.
