The cricket fans are waiting for the start of the big event of Pakistan Super League from 09 February. They are waiting for the start of the opening ceremony and after that the matches will be started among 5 different teams. The second edition of the PSL is yet to start and the preparations of the opening ceremony and the first match will be played soon after the ceremony. The five teams have already reached in Dubai and they are set to start their fights with other teams for the PSL trophy of 2017.
The 2nd edition of PSL trophy was launched at Dubai International Cricket Ground. The trophy of PSL was made in four months from renderings and mock ups to the final product in shape of original trophy for PSL.
The chairman of PSL and captains of all five teams and the franchise owners of the participating teams unveiled the trophy.
The viewers will be kept updates with the live scores and updates through official application of PSL on Android.
The viewers can stream the PSL matches online on their laptops or the PC, they can use official stream link of PSL.
The viewers can also watch the most exciting match on their mobile phones by downloading the Tapmad and they can also watch all the matches of the tv channel, which buy the rights of telecasting of matches. Format of the Competition
Each team will play match two times against each other in the round robin format of PSL 2017. The top four teams will qualify for the playoff stage of the event. The teams will be awarded with two points in group stages and they will get one point, if their match finished undecided and no point if they lose their match. If the match end on the tied scored till the completion of the allotted overs, then super over will be given to both teams so that the winner of the match will be determined.
Misbah ul Haq is the captain of the defending champion, Islamabad United and Shahid Afridi left the captaincy of Peshawar Zalmi and he handed over the captaincy to Darren Sammy, who is former West Indian captain. Sarfaraz Ahmed will remain the captain of Quetta Gladiators. Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka will lead his team, Karachi Kings in this event and Brendon McCullum will captain his side, Lahore Qalandars.

Fixtures of PSL 2017
The chairman of PCB has confirmed that the final of PSL 2017 will be played at Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore but the remaining matches will be played in Sharjah and Dubai.
