Dubai, Pakistan reached at the third position in the ICC T20 team ranking leaving India behind. In the new ranking, New Zealand lost two points and it is still on the top with the total 125 points. England is on the second position with 121 points and Pakistan is on the third position with slight difference in points. India and South Africa are at the fourth and fifth position with 118 and 111 points respectively.
Australia is present at sixth position with 110 points and West Indies has total 109 points and it is at seventh position. Sri Lanka has 95 points and it is present at 8th position while Afghanistan has total 90 points and is at 9th position. Bangladesh is lingering on 10th position with total 78 points, Scotland is on 11th position, Zimbabwe is on 12th position, UAE 13th, Netherlands 14th, Hong Kong 15th, Papua New Guinea on 16th, Oman on 17th and Ireland on 18th position.
The top 9 teams in the ranking till 31 December 2018 and the host Australia will qualify for the T20 World cup 2020.
