The top Pakistani batsman, Babar Azam has broken the world record of Indian captain, Virat Kohli. Babar Azam played 26 T20 matches in which he completed his 1,000 runs and he set the new world record of making 1000 runs in the minimum T20 matches.
Previously, Indian skipper, Virat Kohli set the record of the fastest 1000 runs in just 27 T20i matches but now Pakistani leading player, Babar Azam has set the new world record of making one thousand runs in just 26 overs. Pakistani talented batsman has reached to this milestone in the third T20i match of the series against New Zealand in Dubai International Cricket stadium.
The Indian captain got 1000 runs in 27 T20i matches. When the third and last T20i matches was going to be started between Pakistan v New Zealand in UAE, Babar Azam needed 48 runs to reach to this record. When Pakistan started its batting, Babar Azam played well and he scored 79 runs. He hit two sixes and seven fours in his inning.
