Babar Azam played well in the one day series against West Indies in UAE and he showed his performance in the series. It is interesting that Cricket Australia has given the captaincy of the best team of the year to Virat Kohli of India instead of Steve Smith and ICC also appointed him as the captain of the one day team of the year. In the CA team, there are some other players like Kohli, Warner, Quinton De Cock, Smith, Babar Azam, Mitchell Marsh, Jose Butler, Jespret Bimrah and Imran Tahir.
